Building visual bridges between people and nature
I have always been captivated by the art of storytelling—by how stories, especially true ones, can be crafted to move people and spark reflection. After studying media management, I decided to pursue this passion. Following an internships, I completed a Tv journalism and Producer traineeship at one of Germany’s most renowned documentary production companies.
Alongside my television work, I collaborated with an incredible team to produce the feature documentary In Between Fridays. The film screened at international festivals, earned the Best Emerging Documentary Director award at Portugal’s Indie Film Festival, and is now available on streaming platforms like Sooner, Amazon Prime, and Apple+.
Today, I work as a documentary writer, director and producer based in Berlin. My projects grow out of in-depth research and close, respectful relationships with their protagonists. I am particularly interested in communities beyond the mainstream and in personal stories that reveal wider social, cultural and environmental transformations. Alongside developing my own documentary films, I create journalistic formats for television and films for international non-governmental organisations.
